In a touching social media post, Jena Sims, the wife of professional golfer Brooks Koepka, has opened up about the devastating loss of their unborn child. The 36-year-old model shared the sorrowful news on Monday, revealing that their baby’s heartbeat stopped at 16 weeks into her pregnancy. This announcement has left the couple profoundly shaken.
Sims and Koepka, who tied the knot in 2022, are already parents to a son named Crew, born in July 2023. The couple’s journey began at the Masters tournament in 2015, where Sims first met the professional golfer. After over five years together, Koepka proposed on a Florida beach in April 2021, and they wed in a beautiful ceremony in Turks and Caicos in June 2022.
Their first child, Crew, was born prematurely in July 2023, arriving six weeks ahead of schedule and requiring a caesarean delivery. The experience was particularly challenging for Sims, who spoke candidly about the difficulties they faced during Crew’s time in the neonatal intensive care unit.
Recently, Jena was seen supporting Koepka at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in Scotland, where she was accompanied by young Crew at the iconic St Andrews’ Old Course.
