Ian Bohen is set to make a thrilling return to the Taylor Sheridan universe, as he secures a series regular role in the highly anticipated Season 3 of “Lioness.” According to exclusive reports from Variety, production is currently underway at SGS Studios in Texas. The renewal of “Lioness” for its third season was officially announced on October 1, nearly a year after the premiere of Season 2.

In Season 3, Bohen will portray Grady, a dedicated Delta Force operator and primary K9 handler, known for his exceptional skills in battlefield tactics. He joins an impressive ensemble cast that includes stars like Zoe Saldaña, Nicole Kidman, Morgan Freeman, Michael Kelly, Laysla De Oliveira, Genesis Rodriguez, Dave Annable, Jill Wagner, LaMonica Garrett, James Jordan, Austin Hébert, Jonah Wharton, Thad Luckinbill, and Hannah Love Lanier.

This marks Bohen’s fourth collaboration with Sheridan, building on his previous roles in “Yellowstone” and the feature film “Wind River.” He also appeared in “Sicario: Day of the Soldado,” which was written by Sheridan. Bohen is among several actors in “Lioness” who have frequently collaborated with Sheridan, joining the ranks of Annable, Garrett, Jordan, Hébert, and Luckinbill.

Bohen is best known for his role as Ryan, the wrangler in all five seasons of “Yellowstone.” His diverse television resume includes notable series such as “Teen Wolf,” “Mad Men,” and “Chicago P.D.” In addition to his television work, he has featured in films like “The Dark Knight Rises,” “Wyatt Earp,” and “Pearl Harbor.”

Looking ahead, Bohen is set to executive produce and star in “To the Rescue,” an international co-production currently being promoted at Mipcom by Zero Gravity, his management company.

“Lioness” is part of a growing lineup of Sheridan’s shows airing on Paramount+. The prolific creator also has the second season of the oil field drama “Landman” premiering in November and Season 4 of “Mayor of Kingstown” launching in October. Additionally, Season 3 of “Tulsa King” debuted on September 21, while the “Yellowstone” spinoff “The Madison” awaits its release date. Sheridan is also in the process of developing the latest “Yellowstone” prequel, titled “1944,” along with a spinoff centered around Beth and Rip, featuring Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser.

“Lioness” is executive produced by an esteemed team including Sheridan, David C. Glasser, Saldaña, Kidman, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Jill Wagner, David Lemanowicz, Geyer Kosinski, Michael Friedman, and Keith Cox. The series is produced by Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios and is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
