Tragic Bus Collision in Uganda Claims 63 Lives
In a devastating incident in Uganda, at least 63 individuals have lost their lives following a head-on collision between two buses. The accident occurred on the route connecting the capital city of Kampala to the northern city of Gulu. Authorities suggest that the crash may have been caused by the buses attempting to overtake other vehicles, including a lorry and a sports utility vehicle (SUV).
The Ugandan Police Force confirmed the heartbreaking news in an official statement, stating, “Sixty-three people lost their lives, all of whom were occupants of the involved vehicles.”
This tragic event highlights the urgent need for improved road safety measures to prevent such catastrophic accidents in the future.
