On June 30, 2025, Branstine took on Sabalenka in an exciting first-round match at Wimbledon in London. While the match was highly anticipated, what really caught the attention of social media was Branstine’s dual career as a fashion model. She is represented by Wilhelmina Models and the Neal Hamil Agency, showcasing her skills both on the court and in front of the camera.
In a recent interview, Branstine shared how modeling has helped fund her tennis aspirations. "I love being in front of the camera during a shoot. It’s so much fun, and I adore fashion. It has allowed me to cover some of my travel expenses. I didn’t want to rely on my parents; I wanted my journey to be self-funded through my tennis," she explained. "I wasn’t signed by these agencies because of my tennis — it was based on my look. Interestingly, modeling and tennis have similarities; you’re often seen as an object, and people sometimes forget you’re a person too."
Though Branstine ultimately lost to Sabalenka in straight sets, she put up a strong fight in the second set, narrowly losing 7-5. Before this match, she held a world ranking of No. 194 and boasts an impressive career record of 136 wins and seven titles in International Tennis Federation events.
