"Every one of our national parks, battlefields, and historic sites will host special events in honor of ‘America250’. And yes, we’re even planning a UFC fight," he declared.
"Does anyone watch UFC? The great Dana White? We’re going to have a UFC fight — think about it — right on the White House grounds. We have plenty of land," Trump continued, highlighting the ambitious plan. "Dana is exceptional, and he’ll be organizing a championship fight for 20,000 to 25,000 fans, all as part of our ‘250’ celebration."
While the match is expected to occur on the White House lawn, official permits and logistical details are yet to be confirmed. The National Park Service, which oversees the White House grounds, has not issued any statements regarding the event, and the UFC has remained silent on the announcement.
Trump, a long-time friend of UFC President Dana White, made waves in June when he attended a UFC event in Newark, where he received a thunderous welcome from the sold-out crowd.
