James Marquand’s "The Partisan" with Malcolm McDowell Set to Premiere This Fall
Exciting news for film enthusiasts! James Marquand’s highly anticipated spy thriller, "The Partisan," featuring the legendary Malcolm McDowell, is making its way to theaters this fall. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film is set to debut in October, with distribution handled by Brainstorm Media for audiences in the U.S. and Canada, and in partnership with High Fliers Films in the UK.
For viewers in Poland, Media Squad Distribution and Monolith Films are on board to bring this gripping tale to theaters.
"The Partisan" reunites the talented production team of Robert Chadaj, Krystian Kozlowski, and Matt Whyte, known for their previous work on the acclaimed 2018 film "Hurricane." The story centers on Morgane Polanski, known for her role in "Vikings," who portrays Polish agent Krystyna Skarbek. This film highlights the extraordinary exploits of Skarbek, one of Britain’s foremost female spies, whose courageous actions significantly influenced the course of World War II.
On Friday, an exclusive still from "The Partisan" was shared with THR, showcasing McDowell in character, reigniting excitement for the film. The star-studded cast also includes Piotr Adamczyk ("Hawkeye"), Ingvar Sigurdsson ("Everest"), and Agata Kulesza ("Cold War").
Worldwide sales for "The Partisan" are managed by Capture, who have secured distribution deals across various regions, including Germany (Lighthouse), ANZ (Eagle), Eastern Europe (Daro), Spain (Divisa Red), LATAM (Global Media Distribution), the Middle East (Phoenicia), Portugal (Nos Lusomundo), Greece (Spentzos), South Korea (Poongkyung Sori), and even airlines (Ricochet).
