Reporter Grant Palmer from FOX 25 provided a live update from the scene on Sunday night, highlighting the "significant police presence" following the gunfire. He noted that while small fireworks were being set off, the sound of gunshots was also audible to nearby spectators.

As chaos unfolded, FOX 25 reporter Paige Taylor and her cameraman Brian were preparing for a live post-game segment when they inadvertently captured the moment shots were fired in downtown Oklahoma City, prompting many to flee the area in panic.

Inside the arena, however, the Thunder celebrated a historic moment, capturing their first NBA title since relocating from Seattle, where they were formerly known as the Supersonics.

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander shone brightly in the game, scoring 29 points, dishing out 12 assists, and grabbing five rebounds. Jalen Williams added 20 points, while Chet Holmgren contributed 18 points to seal the victory.
