Ronnie O’Sullivan and Laila Rouass Sell Their East London Home for £2 Million

In a significant development, snooker champion Ronnie O’Sullivan and actress Laila Rouass have reportedly agreed to sell their former residence in East London for £2 million. This sale comes in the wake of their split in December after a 12-year relationship. According to reports from the Mirror, the property located in Woodford Green was listed earlier this year as both parties sought a fresh start.

The five-bedroom house was originally purchased by the couple in June 2018 for £1.35 million, and the upcoming sale marks a profitable turnaround with an estimated gain of around £650,000. Following their separation, O’Sullivan, 49, and Rouass, 53, known for her roles in EastEnders and Footballers’ Wives, are now moving on with their lives.

O’Sullivan is preparing to leave the UK and relocate to the Middle East, where he runs a snooker academy. After exiting the World Snooker Championship last month, he expressed his desire to start anew abroad. "There’s going to be a few changes in my life. I think I’m going to be moving out of the UK," he shared. "I’ll still try to play snooker, but I don’t know what the future looks like for me."

As O’Sullivan embarks on this new chapter, he remains somewhat ambiguous about his future in competitive snooker. "Am I not playing again? I’m not saying anything. I’ve said it so many times. I’m moving away soon," he remarked. The father of three also reflected on life priorities, stating, "There’s a lot more important things in life to worry about than a game of snooker."

Laila Rouass has also been introspective since the split, sharing her thoughts on Instagram: "Break ups can strip you down to your essence. I got through mine by using pain as fuel to take control." She emphasized that this transition doesn’t have to be sad or hard, but rather an opportunity for new adventures and personal growth.

The couple’s relationship began in 2012 when Rouass viewed a property O’Sullivan was selling, leading to a romantic connection facilitated by a mutual estate agent friend. Although engaged in 2013, they never married and faced ups and downs, including a brief separation in February 2022 before reconciling.

As they move forward separately, this sale signifies not only the end of their shared assets but also the beginning of new journeys for both O’Sullivan and Rouass.
