Heidi Klum Dazzles as Medusa at Her 24th Annual Halloween Party in NYC
Heidi Klum, the undisputed Queen of Halloween, wowed guests at her 24th annual Halloween party held at the Hard Rock Hotel in Midtown Manhattan. This year, the supermodel embraced the mythical with her stunning transformation into Medusa, complete with a headpiece adorned with writhing snakes, fierce fangs, and a captivating serpentine tail.
Accompanying her was husband Tom Kaulitz, who donned the attire of a Greek soldier, embodying the unfortunate fate of being turned to stone by Klum’s Medusa. Speaking to Variety on the red carpet, Klum emphasized the importance of "live art" in today’s world increasingly influenced by generative AI. “We still need creators who can craft moments with real people… to me, it’s a beautiful form of art,” she expressed.
Klum’s striking Medusa look was the result of a talented team of 15 artists, who meticulously hand-painted her ensemble. Reflecting on her transformation, she humorously noted, “This is only good for the night. Everything goes down the drain, so to speak, in the shower.”
This year’s Halloween bash was not only a celebration of creativity but also marked Klum’s return to "Project Runway" for its 21st season on Disney’s Freeform, Disney+, and Hulu, after stepping away from the show in 2018. Having hosted the fashion competition for 16 seasons since its debut in 2004, Klum has also co-created the series “Making the Cut,” which premiered on Amazon Prime Video in 2020.
