Paige Spiranac Confirms Cheeky Golf Theory: Clothing Choices Impact Performance
Golf influencer Paige Spiranac recently took to social media to share her amusing theory about how her clothing affects her performance on the golf course. Two years ago, Spiranac introduced her playful "case study," where she claimed that she tends to play better golf when she’s dressed in fewer clothes. This past Sunday, she posted an update on X (formerly Twitter), declaring that her theory has been further validated.
"If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I have this working theory that I play better when I wear less," she wrote. "I can confirm that science is right once again—I played like (poop) today." In a recent outing, she sported a button-down shirt and black pants, which she humorously suggested might not have been the best choice for her game.
Despite her love for golf, Spiranac expressed her frustrations, stating, "Nothing makes me want to quit more than hitting hooks off the tee. It’s infuriating!"
Earlier in August 2023, during a round at Liberty Golf Course in New Jersey, Spiranac shared more about her "case study." She compared scores from different outfits, revealing that she shot a 75 in one outfit and a much better 68 in another, emphasizing the significant differences in her clothing choices. "I want it on record that I wore a golf-appropriate outfit today, and it didn’t help my score. I shoot lower the less I wear. It’s science," she noted at the time.
Spiranac, who has become a prominent figure in the golf community, boasts over 4 million followers on Instagram and 1.6 million on TikTok. Her engaging content and humorous takes on golf continue to resonate with fans, making her one of the most-followed golf influencers online.
