Tragic Loss: Reality Star and Real Estate Agent Sara Burack Passes Away at 40

In heartbreaking news, reality television star and luxury real estate agent Sara Burack has died at the age of 40 following a hit-and-run incident. The Southampton Town Police Department confirmed the tragic event to Fox News Digital, detailing that Burack was struck near the Villa Paul Restaurant on Montauk Highway on June 19.

Burack, widely recognized for her roles in Netflix’s "Million Dollar Beach House" and "Selling the Hamptons," was discovered unconscious at the scene and quickly transported to Stony Brook University Hospital. Sadly, authorities are still working to locate the driver responsible for this devastating incident.

A close family friend and fellow realtor from NestSeekers International shared with Fox News Digital that they were with Burack’s mother and sister at the hospital during her final moments. Initially, Burack suffered cardiac arrest at the scene but was revived and placed on life support. She sustained severe brain injuries, including a fractured skull and multiple brain bleeds.

"She was a wonderful person and a dedicated professional," the friend reflected. "Real estate was her passion for many years." Burack had built a reputable career at NestSeekers International, where she was highly regarded by colleagues and clients alike.

Outside of her real estate endeavors, Burack was deeply committed to philanthropy. She actively participated in raising funds for various charities and co-chaired numerous galas and black-tie events in New York City. "Sara had a big heart and was always willing to lend a hand to those in need," her friend shared.

In a 2020 interview with Hamptons.com, Burack spoke about her journey in real estate, sharing, "I grew up in a family that operated a commercial construction material sales business, which sparked my interest in real estate. After working as a summer property manager, I decided to pursue a career as a broker." She had been spending half the year in the Hamptons for over a decade, blending her passion for real estate with her love for the area.

"Million Dollar Beach House," which debuted on Netflix in 2020, showcased Burack’s expertise in the high-end real estate market, while "Selling the Hamptons" aired on HBO Max in 2022, further solidifying her status in the industry.

Sara Burack’s sudden passing is a profound loss, and she will be remembered for her vibrant spirit and dedication to her work and community.

For those who wish to honor her memory, please consider contributing to local charities or participating in community fundraising efforts.
