Millie Bobby Brown and Gabriel LaBelle Star in Netflix’s Romantic Comedy "Just Picture It"

Exciting news for fans of romantic comedies! Millie Bobby Brown, renowned for her role in Netflix’s hit series Stranger Things, and Gabriel LaBelle, who gained acclaim in Steven Spielberg’s The Fabelmans, are set to star in Just Picture It, a new romantic comedy on Netflix.

Directed by Lee Toland Krieger, known for his work on The Age of Adaline and popular Netflix series You, this film promises to deliver a charming and whimsical story. The screenplay, penned by Jesse Lasky, follows two carefree college students—played by Brown and LaBelle—whose lives take a surprising turn when their phones start glitching. They’re stunned to discover images from ten years in the future, showcasing them as a happily married couple with kids—despite having never met before!

The project is being produced by industry veterans Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum, alongside Brown and her brother Robert Brown through their production company, PCMA Productions. This film marks Brown’s debut in the romantic comedy genre, and she has been deeply involved in its development from the very beginning.

Executive producers on the project include Alyssa Altman of R/K Films, Jake Bongiovi, Isobel Roberts for PCMA Productions, and David Kern. Notably, this is the first feature film sale for Jesse Lasky, who has an impressive background in television. He started his career as a monologue joke writer for The Late Show with David Letterman and has held various roles, including associate producer on ABC’s Revenge, where he also contributed to writing and producing DVD bonus features and a spin-off novel.

Gabriel LaBelle is also making waves, having portrayed a young Steven Spielberg in The Fabelmans, and recently starring as Lorne Michaels in Jason Reitman’s story about the making of the first episode of Saturday Night Live.

Millie Bobby Brown continues to be a favorite on Netflix, thanks to her iconic role as Eleven in Stranger Things, which is set to release its fifth and final season in two parts this November. Earlier this year, she showcased her talent in the sci-fi adventure The Electric State, co-starring with Chris Pratt, and starred in the fantasy film Damsel, which she also produced. Damsel has notably ranked as the ninth most popular English-language film on Netflix, and she recently completed filming for Enola Holmes 3, where she served as both lead and executive producer.

Brown is represented by WME and Hansen, Jacobson, while LaBelle is repped by CAA, Play Management, and Sloane Offer. Jesse Lasky is represented by Echo Lake Entertainment and Goodman Genow.

Stay tuned for more updates on Just Picture It as it continues to develop into what promises to be a delightful romantic comedy!
