During the call, Woo initially kept the conversation light, discussing his upcoming start against the New York Yankees in The Bronx. But then he dropped the big news with a playful question: "Do you guys want to go to Atlanta after that?"
The reaction from his father, Clayton, was priceless—a scream of joy erupted on the other end of the line. "No freaking way!" he exclaimed, his excitement escalating as Woo’s emotions began to surface.
Woo’s mother, Hilary, soon joined the conversation, her astonishment palpable. "Holy s—, Bryan! Oh my god, no way!" she exclaimed, sharing in the joy of her son’s achievement.
