Police Investigate Burglary at Brad Pitt’s Los Angeles Home
Authorities are currently investigating a burglary that occurred at a residence in Los Angeles, reportedly owned by actor Brad Pitt. Fortunately, Pitt was not home during the incident, as he is in the midst of a promotional tour for his latest racing thriller, "F1." The film recently celebrated its carpet premiere in London on Monday.
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to the Associated Press and NBC News that they responded to reports of a break-in on the 2300 block of North Edgemont Street, located in the Los Feliz neighborhood. According to reports, three suspects gained entry by climbing over a fence and accessing the home through a front window. They allegedly ransacked the property and made off with an undisclosed amount of belongings. Details about the stolen items and the identities of the suspects remain unclear.
Brad Pitt purchased the property in 2023 for $5.5 million, as reported by architecture magazine Domus. The home was previously owned by oil heiress Aileen Getty, who traded it for Pitt’s former residence in the Eastern Hollywood Hills, valued at $33 million. Additionally, Pitt owns a stunning mansion in Carmel-by-the-Sea, which he acquired in 2022.
As Pitt continues to promote Warner Bros.’ release of Apple Studios’ "F1," which began preview screenings on Thursday and will hit theaters this weekend, he shared his thoughts on the film in a recent GQ interview. The 61-year-old actor expressed how this big-budget project has reignited his passion for acting. “I’ve been doing this for a while and was questioning whether I still had stories to tell or excitement to find,” Pitt revealed. “This film has truly reinvigorated my love for the craft.”
Stay tuned for updates on the investigation and the upcoming release of "F1," a film that promises to thrill audiences!
