Exciting news for Batman fans! At the recent New York Comic Con, Warner Bros. Animation unveiled an upcoming multi-chapter animated series featuring the Dark Knight, titled Batman: Knightfall. This thrilling saga is set to launch in 2026, with the first episode currently in production by DC and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.
In Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall, the Caped Crusader faces his greatest challenge yet when the formidable Bane unleashes Batman’s entire Rogues Gallery from Arkham Asylum, pushing him to his mental and physical breaking point. This animated event draws inspiration from the beloved and iconic comic book series Batman: Knightfall, created by renowned writers such as Doug Moench, Chuck Dixon, and Alan Grant, among others.
The series is helmed by director Jeff Wamester, with the screenplay crafted by Jeremy Adams. Rick Morales takes on the role of supervising producer, while Jim Krieg and Kimberly S. Moreau serve as producers. Executive producers for this epic tale include industry veterans Sam Register and Michael Uslan.
