At the premiere of his highly anticipated film Good Fortune tonight, Keanu Reeves took a moment to honor his late co-star Diane Keaton, who sadly passed away last week. Reflecting on their time together in the classic film Something’s Gotta Give, Reeves described Keaton as "a total pro." Speaking to E! News on the red carpet, he shared, "She was incredibly kind to me—a generous artist and a truly unique individual."

Reeves reminisced about the memorable dynamic between Keaton and Jack Nicholson, saying, "It was amazing to witness their chemistry, especially given their shared history and the genuine affection they had for each other. It was a special moment."

When Something’s Gotta Give hit theaters in 2003, Reeves was 36, and Keaton was 57. Their undeniable on-screen chemistry sparked fan theories about an alternate ending where Keaton’s character chooses Reeves instead of Nicholson’s more age-appropriate Harry. This speculation was reignited when the duo reunited on stage at the 2020 Oscars, prompting Keaton to jokingly remark, "Whoa. Maybe they did end up together."

Director Nancy Meyers also fondly remembered Keaton’s remarkable talent earlier today, noting, "Whenever I needed Diane to evoke deep emotions in scene after scene, she delivered with such passion—yet somehow, she made it funny too." Meyers reminisced about Keaton’s unique preparation rituals, revealing, "Sometimes she would twirl in a goofy circle before a take to shake off any nerves, allowing her to fully immerse herself in the scene. She was fearless and one of a kind—a true movie star."

As fans continue to celebrate Diane Keaton’s legacy, her extraordinary contributions to cinema will always be remembered.
