Listen to Fox News Articles: Iranian Foreign Minister Issues Stern Warning to Trump

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has issued a stern warning to President Donald Trump, advising him to adopt a more respectful tone towards Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. In a candid post on X, Araghchi emphasized that if Trump is genuinely interested in negotiating with Iran, he must refrain from disrespectful remarks that insult Khamenei and hurt his millions of followers.

Araghchi urged Trump to "set aside the disrespectful and unacceptable tone" and recognize the dignity of the Iranian leadership. He highlighted the resilience and pride of the Iranian people, noting, "Our worth is well-known, and we value our independence. We will not allow anyone else to dictate our destiny."

In a provocative statement, Araghchi criticized Israel’s dependence on the United States during recent military confrontations, stating, "The Great and Powerful Iranian People showed the world that the Israeli regime had no choice but to run to ‘Daddy’ to avoid being flattened by our missiles." This remark was a pointed jab at the longstanding U.S.-Israeli alliance, aiming to depict Israel as vulnerable.

The foreign minister concluded with a strong warning: "If illusions lead to grave mistakes, Iran will not hesitate to reveal its true capabilities, dispelling any delusions about its power. Goodwill fosters goodwill, and respect begets respect."

Araghchi’s comments come shortly after the recent conflict between Iran and Israel, which ended on June 24 under a U.S.-brokered ceasefire. Tensions remain high, with Khamenei claiming victory over Israel and asserting that Tehran dealt a "slap" to Washington during the confrontation. In response, Trump dismissed Khamenei’s claims as "false" and "foolish," while also announcing a freeze on discussions about sanctions relief for Iran.

Additionally, Araghchi rejected Trump’s assertion that new nuclear talks were imminent, asserting that "there are no negotiations underway" and that Iran will act in accordance with its national interests. He denied any plans to meet with U.S. officials next week, directly contradicting Trump’s previous statements suggesting that diplomatic efforts were resuming.

Trump responded on Truth Social, stating, "I wish the leadership of Iran would realize that you often get more with honey than you do with vinegar. PEACE!!!"

As the situation unfolds, the White House has yet to provide a comment regarding these developments.
