Exciting Casting News: Camila Cabello and Langston Kerman Join the Cast of "Cut Off"

In a thrilling development for movie enthusiasts, four-time Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Camila Cabello and talented actor Langston Kerman are the latest additions to the cast of "Cut Off," a comedy produced by Warner Bros. Directed by the multifaceted Jonah Hill, who also stars alongside Kristen Wiig, this film promises to deliver laughs and heartfelt moments.

Written by Jonah Hill and Ezra Woods, "Cut Off" follows the story of two wealthy siblings, played by Hill and Wiig, who find themselves cut off from their affluent parents, portrayed by the legendary Bette Midler and Nathan Lane. The ensemble cast also includes the talented Adriana Barraza. Hill not only directs and co-writes the film, but he also takes on the role of producer alongside Matt Dines and Ali Goodwin under his Strong Baby production company. Warner Bros. executives Jesse Ehrman and Zach Hamby are overseeing the project, which is set to hit theaters worldwide on July 17, 2026. Notably, "Cut Off" is one of the few films currently being shot in California, with production already underway.

Camila Cabello first gained fame as a member of the popular girl group Fifth Harmony before establishing a successful solo career. She has showcased her acting chops in projects such as Kay Cannon’s "Cinderella" and lent her voice to a character in DreamWorks’ upcoming "Trolls Band Together." Additionally, she appeared in the Sundance drama "Rob Peace," directed by Chiwetel Ejiofor. Cabello is represented by WME, Full Stop Management, and Gang, Tyre, Ramer.

Langston Kerman is making waves as an actor, writer, and comedian. He recently released his debut Netflix stand-up special, "Bad Poetry," directed by none other than John Mulaney. Kerman has appeared in hit shows such as "The Boys" and "Abbott Elementary," and he co-created and starred in Peacock’s comedy "Bust Down." His impressive credits also include appearances in "Insecure," "Bless This Mess," "South Side," and Hulu’s "The Other Black Girl." Kerman is represented by WME, Rise Management, and Ziffren Brittenham.

Stay tuned for more updates on "Cut Off" as it continues to develop, and mark your calendars for its theatrical release in 2026!
