BTS Set to Release Groundbreaking Live Album and Digital Companion
The global K-pop sensation BTS is excited to announce the upcoming release of their first-ever live album, “Permission to Dance on Stage – Live,” along with an exclusive digital companion, “BTS Permission to Dance on Stage – Seoul.” This live album encapsulates the vibrant spirit of BTS’s monumental “Permission to Dance on Stage” tour, which began as an online concert in October 2021 and transformed into a spectacular worldwide arena experience.
With a staggering 12 shows held in iconic cities such as Seoul, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas, the tour attracted over 4 million fans, both in-person and online. The live album features 22 tracks from the tour, showcasing live renditions of BTS’s chart-topping hits like “Dynamite,” “Butter,” “Life Goes On,” “Boy With Luv (feat. Halsey),” and “ON.” This marks the first official release of these songs in a live format, promising to capture the electrifying energy and dynamic soundscape that resonated through stadiums worldwide.
Additionally, the Seoul digital component provides an in-depth look at the tour’s grand finale, featuring a 141-minute video compilation from the group’s unforgettable performance at Seoul’s Olympic Stadium in March 2022. Fans will also receive a 92-page interview photobook filled with behind-the-scenes content, accessible via a digital card that unlocks high-definition VOD content on the Weverse platform.
BTS, comprised of the talented members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook, made their debut in June 2013 and have since shattered numerous industry records. The group has also garnered five Grammy nominations from the 63rd to 65th Grammy Awards and received accolades from the Billboard Music Awards, American Music Awards (Artist of the Year 2021), and MTV Video Music Awards. After completing their mandatory military service, all seven members reunited in June, much to the delight of their fans.
